The second issue of the Control Yuan Newsletter English version is published on July 1st, 2021. The Control Yuan Newsletter includes topics such as the latest news, duties and powers, government reforms, and international exchanges, in order to strengthen communication with the international ombudsman and human rights community.
The second issue compiles Control Yuan news of the first half of 2021, including articles on Control Yuan 90th Anniversary Exhibition Opening, 90th Anniversary Symposium on Practices and Prospects for Supervisory Power, the launch of human rights lectures, partnership program on human rights education with Ministry of Education, first inmate petition received by videoconference, first CY plenary meeting held by videoconference, the video call with UK’s Equality and Human Rights Commission, and CY attending IOI World Conference via videoconferencing.
