President Wang Chien-shien of the Control Yuan met Mr. Hernán Contreras, President of Court of Auditors, Republic of El Salvador, and Mrs. Rosa María de Contreras at 2:30 p.m. on August 19, 2008. They exchanged opinions about the supervision and audit powers of both nations in a harmonious atmosphere. After the meeting, Mr. and Mrs. Contreras, accompanied by President Wang, visited the Control Yuan Exhibition Area to understand more about the history of the supervision system of the Republic of China on Taiwan and architectural features of the Control Yuan Building. A memorable group photo was taken at the front gate in the end. Mr. and Mrs. Contreras were invited by the Ministry of Audit and due to leave Taiwan on August 23.
